- Papervision + webcam = awesomeness
Digital Pictures Interactive in Australia built this demo of their appplication that can place a virtual Papervision avatar on a plane that is then positioned by a webcam. Inspiring stuff. Try it yourself by printing the symbol they provide on the site. Pretty damn cool.
- Ideo Labs
Ideo Labs blog a bunch of clever clogs!
- iChalky
Oh crap, guess this means I’m going to have to start learning to program apps for the iPhone.
- Interactive youtube
Just like those books one had as a child, “if you choose to open the red door, turn to page 212″, but with youtube clips. Works very well indeed.
- Elle MacPherson Intimates
Although not new, this is still cool and I thought I would throw it up here. Even if you’ve seen it, it’s worth another look.
- Adobe launches Flashon
The Flashon site’s sole pupose seems to be the demonstration of Flash’s new streaming capabilities. Which it does very well indeed. The battle with Silverlight for control of streaming video continues. May the the best technology win.
- Neon Bible interactive music video
The coolest thing I’ve seen online in ages. If Gondry made websites this is what they be like.
The appearance of random behaviour based on the visitor’s interaction is what makes it most interesting to play with. It’s an effect that’s not always easily achieved, but when it’s done right, it’s wonderful.
- Pianolina
Interactivity done right means never having to say click here. Try the wonderful Pianolina application.
